What Remains (2018) short film
An Iraqi immigrant living in Chicago works as an Uber driver at night. He is about to finish his last ride before returning home to his family, when a desperate war veteran, hijacks his car. The film is a psychological drama based on observations on the experiences of refugees and war veterans, and their lifelong struggles with their memories, and with survival.
